Industrial Tour to Blue Ocean Biotech Pvt Ltd, Samalkota
We
the department of biotechnology organized a tour for our students of II and III
Years to Blue Ocean Biotech Pvt Ltd, Samalkota, Kakinada. This industry
manufactures Starch, Gluten, Liquid Glucose, Maltodextrose, Fiber, Germ layers,
Cellulose fiber from maize and producing 3.89 MWts of power from palm fiber, wood chips and paddy
husk. This industry plays a important role in waste water treatment and supplies
water to farmers to cultivate their fields. They mainly supply the liquid
glucose the main source of candy preparation and Maltodextrose, a raw material
for baby food products to Lotte, Parle, and Ravi foods.
Visiting of Blue Ocean Biotech helps our students
to acquire a good knowledge and great exposure to industry.
