Objectives of the course:
- To make the students to establish cottage industries related to agriculture.
- To improve the quality of the agriculture using natural sources.
- To decrease the soil, water and air pollution causing by pesticides, weedicides, and fungicides.
- To increase the soil fertility by using biofertilizers.
- To reduce the usage of chemical fertilizers.
- To learn the preparation and techniques of biofertilizers, biopesticides, vermi composting.
- To learn about integrated pest management.
- Students will establish cottage industries of biofertilizers, biopesticides, vermicompost.
- Students will be able to supply the biofertilizers, biopesticides and vermicompost to the farmers for reasonable price.
- Students will become entrepreneurs.
