Biotechnology Prospects after graduation

BIOTECHNOLOGY PROSPECTS AFTER GRADUATION

The college offers two UG programmes with Biotechnology:
B. Sc BBC - Biotechnology, Botany, Chemistry
B. Sc MBC- Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry

What is Biotechnology?
Biotechnology is "the application of biological organisms, system or processes for manufacturing and service industries"(British Biotechnologist).
It includes diverse subjects apart from biology making it interdisciplinary which includes plant, animal, microbial, biophysical, biochemical techniques with computer and statistical applications. It caters to various industrial sectors like Pharmaceutical, Food, Agriculture, Animal husbandry, Medical, Forensic, Environment and more.
Biotechnology is proving popular among students today as it provides ample opportunities for exploration of new and modern frontiers in science.
