GUEST LECTURE: Department of biotechnology has conducted a guest lecture on 8-8-17, on “future prospects of Biotechnology” by Dr. J.N. Lavanya Latha, Assistant professor, department of Biotechnology, Krishna university. 72 students attended the lecture.

Guest lecture on "carrier guidance in Biotechnology " organized by Department of Biotechnology on 11-11-17, resource person is Dr. G. M. Sheela , managing director, Biotech III, Vijayawada. 72 students from the department attended the lecture.
WORKSHOP
workshop on molecular techniques conducted by the department of Biotechnology on 5-12-17. The resource person is Dr. G. M. Sheela, Managing director, Biotech I.I.I, Patamata, Vijayawada. 32 students were attended and learned the techniques.
Industrial tour
An industrial tour to "Indian Immunologicals limited" Rakshapuram, Gachibowli, Hyderabad on 29-1-18. 38 students were visited the Human biologicals institute in Indian Immunologicals limited.
